I had the unique opportunity to attend a portrait meet at BSP West last month. If you’re unfamiliar (as I was!), a portrait meet consists of photographers– both professional and amateur– getting together with models– both professional and amateur– to network and practice their respective crafts. While intimidating, as I am a hobbyist only, it was a really positive experience. It was an amazing space as well, with lots of natural light streaming in– the best scenario, especially in the winter!
